New post holders sworn in before the President of the Republic28.02.2017
The act of swearing-in was overseen by the Equatoguinean Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in the presence of the President of the Senate, Teresa Efua Asangono.
The new position holders were the Minister for Culture and Craft Promotion, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama; Pedro Ela Nguema Buna, Adviser to the Presidency of the Government, Charged with Multilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Lucas Abaga Nchama, Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic in matters of the Economy and Finance; Jesús Ela Abeme, General Secretary at the Department of Foreign Affairs; Caridad Moka Biaca, Director General of the Cabinet of the President of the Chamber of Deputies; Juan Lorenzo Machimbo Bisabinga, Director General of Consular Affairs, Culture and the Diaspora at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; Diluvina Nchama Esono, Director General for International Cooperation in the same sector; Julio Obama Ondo Bela, Inspector General for Services at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation; and Pedro Benigno Matute Tang, Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Also raising their hands before the Equatoguinean President to promise to carry out their functions with seriousness and responsibility were José Edjang Nguema and Anastasia Nansie Esono Abeso, First and Second Secretaries at the Equatorial Guinea Embassy in Guinea Conakry, named through orders issued by the President of the Republic.
In his pointers, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo indicated that the designation of officials to hold important posts was aimed at improving the political and administrative management of the State.
He invited the new Minister for Culture to boost such an important sector, as he had said that culture is the basis for nature and the people.
