Ambassador to China visits installations of a telecommunications company06.03.2017
The visit served to present the ambassador with the company's proposal to move into Equatorial Guinea, and thus contribute towards the development of the country in the telecommunications sector, according to words from the regional representative of Huawei, Maya Zhu.
“It is an interesting proposal, and I believe that it can help our country, not only in the area of telecommunications, but also in other fields, such as security and information, among others, and as a consequence, generate employment for young Equatoguineans", said Ekua Sima.
During the visit, Maya Zhu took the ambassador around the installations at the centre, showing him the latest technology possessed by the company, together with the new smartphones which will go on sale in March. Specifically, the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus from the Premium range, and the smart watches, Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic.
The Chinese leader in telecommunications not only wishes to set up in Equatorial Guinea, but also contribute towards the training of young people, and the development of new technologies in the country and African in general, as it has already done in Nigeria and Gabon, Zhu pointed out.
