Prime Minister travels to Egypt to attend International Youth Conference


On 4th November, the Prime Minister left Malabo bound for Egypt. At the airport he was seen off by the Governor of Bioko Norte, the mayoress of the capital, and the accredited Egyptian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea.

After flying for over three hours, Obama Asue, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Salomón Nfa Ndong, arrived at Sharm el Sheikh International Airport, where he was received by the Minister for Emigration and Diaspora, the accredited Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Egypt, Eustaquio Nseng Esono, and diplomatic personnel based in the republic.

The Prime Minister made the journey as representative of the President of the Republic, to attend the International Youth Conference, where matters related to youth will be debated for over four days.
