Gold Master award for Head of State


The reporting of the award was the purpose of the audience that the Head of State granted to a Spanish delegation, by Carlos Escudero de Burón y González, president of this body, and Luis María Anson, academic from the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language.

The Spanish Royal Forum of Senior Management was created in 1982 under the presidency of honour of King Emeritus H. M. Juan Carlos I. The delegation from this body informed H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of the decision to grant him the award for his outstanding professional trajectory in the economic, business, political and cultural areas in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. The audience was attended by the Minister of State to the Presidency of the Republic, Charged with Missions, Alejandro Evuna Owono Asangono.

Guillermina Mokuy Mba Obono, ex Minister for Culture, Tourism and Craft Promotion, led the visiting delegation, which also included Doctor Ignacio Palomo Álvarez and Carlos Escudero de Burón, who pointed out that the body wished to grant the award to the President of Equatorial Guinea, as leader of the only Spanish-speaking country on the African continent. He also declared that the 50th Anniversary of Independence will be a celebration during which Spain will present this award.

The journalist and academic Luis María Anson had a special moment to speak to the Head of State about his participation in the next session of the Equatoguinean Academy of the Spanish Language, the reason for his presence in our country. Anson praised the development undergone in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and in that respect affirmed that in fifty years our country has become one of the most prosperous nations in Africa.
